Halloween

Wow! We had a busy but very fun Halloween day. Here are just a few of the highlights.

We started the day with a program at Kailyn's preschool. It was pretty cute especially when Kailyn noticed me in the crowd for the first time (see pic). The program also explained a lot, like why Kailyn has been trying to "tap her fingers together loudly" (snap), who the ghost of John is, why she's been trying to "scare me by saying Boo' and why she has started to hit herself on the forehead (part of a song called 'I'm a Nut')
Then we headed to downtown Perrysburg for some Treat or Treating at the different shops. Here is a pic of the kids.
Kailyn with her fairy friends Olivia and Ella.
So, here is how Jordan eats a Reese's (picks out the middle). That night our good friends the Wells came over to go Trick or treating with us. I'm so glad they did, it was so much fun going with them. We couldn't have asked for better weather. Our neighborhood was pretty busy with kids, I was pretty impressed. There was a steady enough flow that people just sat at their front door and handed out candy.

The girls were really excited when we started and were running from door to door. Kailyn was up in front with Olivia ...that is until she fell and scratched her hand. Then she was 'too injured' to keep up anymore. From that point on, every door she went to found out about her injured hand.

Jordan was the energizer bunny. I think she could have trick or treated all night!

Caden caught on right away. He would walk up to the door and get a candy, and of course he had to be eating a sucker while he was doing it. It was so cute at this door in the picture below(it was the 2nd door or so) Caden was a little hesitant for some reason. He started walking up then stopped looked back at us started walking toward the door again and then turned around and signed more. He wanted more candy but wasn't sure he wanted to go and get it. It was pretty cute.
As you can probably guess, we have loads of candy. Most of which magically disappeared from the kids bags while they were sleeping.

Halloween is so much fun!

I eat reese's the same way...still (well, then I eat the outside). I laughed when I read about the program that Kailyn did and how it had explained some things. I wish there was a program or something to exlain some of the silly things James does (just kidding).
