So if you ever want a good laugh you have to go and see a little kids' ballet recital. It is really funny. They don't really get the idea that the show must go on. If someone is missing from their line or circle they are not really sure what to do or if one of the kids gets off track they all get hopelessly lost. Then there was the group after Kailyn's and Jordan's where one girl just plopped herself on the floor and refused to dance. She looked really mad for some reason and even stuck her tongue out at the girl that was dancing next to her. Jordan seemed to have a lot of fun and Kailyn was really proud of herself for being so brave (not that she was ever scared or nervous to begin with). It was funny at the end, they have them all come out and bow. Kailyn was trying to find us in the crowd so she made her hands into binoculars. It must of worked cause she did eventually spot us and was quite excited about it (she even told the kids standing next to her, which I am sure were thrilled to know where we were standing too). I was going to up load the video for grandmas and grandpas (and who ever else cared to watch) but it is refusing to download from the camera. Ken knows how to get it off but it might be a while until he is able to do it (he works everyday this coming week, even the one day he was suppose to have off, yuck!)
It has been a really busy, crazy week, as you can tell from the last two pictures. I was surprised to find Jordan nodding off while eating but shocked when I found Kailyn (Kailyn never falls asleep during the day. She must have been really tired, poor kid).

Awwww! I love the little ballerina pictures! For as much of a tomboy as I was as a kid, I sure am a sucker now for sweet little girlies doing stuff like that. How fun for them!
Absolutely precious! We sure do miss you all!
What beautiful dancers! We haven't stopped talking about the "beautiful ballet" that Kailyn and Jordan did since Friday.
Oh they are just precious dancers!! and it looks like you just wore the two of them out!
What cute ballerina's! I love the pictures you got of the two of them.
What fun. It reminds me of your mom and me. When we were little we took ballet together and had wonderful leotards and tutus that we wore as Halloween costumes the next year. Ah, good memories.
Aunt Judy
What cute ballerinas you have!! They look so happy in their little tutus!! How fun that they get to dance together!! Sisters are the best!
How cute! Brings back some great memories. My favorite part of little kid recitals is watching the teacher "dance" off to the side to keep the kids on track. It is too funny!
Pink and purple: great color combination for little girls aged 7 and under. I don't know why it doesn't appeal to us the older we get. I don't get it!
I'm sure one of their favorite parts was wearing the tiara on their head.
They are SOOOOOOO adorable Shelly. SOOooo adorable. I can't wait for little tutu's and ballet recitals!! ;)
