Spring

Finally, some signs of spring. Look what the girls discovered in our front yard earlier this week. I have no idea what they are cause they were not visible when we moved in. I am not a flower person yet, so if anyone knows what they are I would love to know.

They look like tulips or daffodils. There's a yard near your house that always has yellow daffodils and purple pansies bloom each spring - it's beautiful!

I agree. I think they look like tulips - usually one of the first to be seen in spring. I'm sure they'll be beautiful! :)

I think they are tulips too. That is what they look like at this point. Daffodils leaves are a little different, but I'm not used to Midwest flowers, so it could surprise me. I love flowers and my education in a related field only makes me love them more.

We got a similar surprise recently in our flower beds (from the previous owner of our house). I can't wait to see what they are!

I'm almost positive they're tulips as well. We planted 24 of them in the fall hoping that a few would show (since we are so new at this yard business) and they're all starting to pop up!!

I can't tell for sure, but it's either tulips or lily of the valley. If its lily- AWESOME!! Tulip leaves are more turgid and lily leaves are softer. HTH :)
