Random Kids Pics Oct-Jan in Random Order

Someone had a exhausting day. (Ava)

Wait! Ava and Chase want to be in the picture too.

Silly picture

Caden opening his birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa Jones.

I sure love this smiling boy.

Ava too tired to stay awake to hear stories.

One Sunday morning, I was getting the kids ready for Church. I was in the kitchen cleaning up breakfast when I kept hearing this really weird noise. After a while of it going, I decide I had to see what was making the noise. I went out the front door and almost ran into a hot air balloon (OK not really, but it was really close to the ground because it was about to land) going through our neighborhood.

Kailyn saying her lines for her school play.

Caden and his class play about Pilgrims and Indians.

Caden's class. Caden is the first one on the left in the back row.

Ava deep in a book.

The story must of taken an unusual twist.

The high school had a holiday carnival. Games and refreshments. We didn't get any pictures there but here are the kids with their faces painted.

The girls did choir again this year. They had to meet once a week at 8am to practice. These are pictures from their concert.
Kailyn is the very middle back row.

Jordan spotted us.

Such beautiful singers!

Ken's work had a Christmas party. There was food, music, white elephant exchange and an ugly sweater contest.

Ava saying hi to Santa.

It was a pretty late night. Someone is ready for bed. Ava looks pretty tired too.

The boys in their ugly sweaters.

Ken had all of the kids at the party help to make his sweater even better.

We removed some cupboards from our kitchen leaving a nice white spot. Here I am painting the wall.

I really wanted to paint our ceilings white so that 1) I didn't feel like I was in a cave and 2) so that I could change the wall color without having to worry about the ceiling.  Trying to get in this corner was the worst part especially since I was 7 1/2 months pregnant (bending over like this gave me contractions).

A little perspective.

Chase dancing with Ava.

Ken sneaking a picture of my pregnant belly.

Supervising Kailyn making dinner.

Caden helping to make BBQ Chicken pizza.

Jordan (in the middle of the picture in the blue and white shirt) giving her speaking part at her school musical.
A Poem by Caden. "Cool kid. Amazing son. Dog lover. Eats hambergers. Not wird (weird)"

This is how have points. Apparently, it is more effective to point while closing one eye.

Can you guess? Newborn, 1 month, and 3 month comparisons

Here are some pics of our kids at different ages.  Can you guess who is who?  As we look back at the pics, we did realize how jaundiced one them was.  WOW!  I will put the answers in the comments section sometime--but not right away.  Try your hand at guessing.  For reference, I did include a recent pyramid-style picture of the kids at their current ages.  If nothing else, enjoy how cookie-cutter perfect our kids are.  At the end, I found a couple of pics of me (Ken).
