Too Cold

A few weeks ago we had ice cream for our family home evening treats. Caden would take a big bite and then start crying and crying. The ice cream was just too cold! The funny part is after he was done with the bite he would say Mmmmm! and then take another big bite and start the whole processes all over again. We kept trying to get him to take smaller bites but he wanted no help. (Unfortunately, by the time we got the camera out he was no longer saying Mmmm, although the girls are attempting to get him to say it again)(Oh, and at the end Ken is trying to get Caden to say Mmm and Caden replies with "Stop" and "Stop it"...unfortunately his favorite phrase.)

A Sign of how much Ken eats dinner with us:
Kailyn is setting the table and comes to me with what she perceives to be an extra plate.
Kailyn: "What's this plate for?"
Me:"For Dad."
Kailyn:(with a look of total confusion) "Why?"
(Yes, so we had 2 weeks of having him home once a week (we think that is good) and then a long dry spell where he was working everyday. He was suppose to get a day off last week unfortunately, 3 of the residents had babies and now they all have to pick up the slack. Which means no breaks for Ken and no dinner with dad.)
