Random Dec 2014 and Jan 2015

Kailyn is playing the clarinet this year in band. She has done really well with it and has amazing tone, even with very minimal practice (can you imagine how good she would be if she actually practiced). Here are a couple pictures of her ready for her first band concert.

Our ward had an amazing Christmas program this year. There were a bunch of acts that were put together and performed. I participated in a hula dance and Jordan danced a duet (she did amazing!! she has such natural talent). The primary also dressed up and sang the closing number.
I am on the back row. You can just barely see my head. It's the only picture we could get.

I have a hard time getting Hannah to fall asleep in my arms (necessary at church since we meet at 11 am),yet, here she feel asleep on my lap without me even noticing.

What a cutie.

Jordan has been begging me to let her throw a birthday party for Chase's birthday. Here she is making a 'Power Rangers' pinata.

Look at these gas prices. I haven't seen prices this low in a very long time (since high school?)

We have this huge tree we can see outside of our kitchen window. In January, we saw 2 bald eagles and a few golden eagles hanging out in these trees. Every morning there would be a row of 12ish photographers lined up ready to take pictures with their monstrous cameras.
Can you see the eagle in the upper right part of the tree?
Grandma and Grandpa Bassett came for a visit in December. They were in Denver for Christmas and spent New Year's with us. We were able to go sledding with all of the Colorado Bassett cousins while they were here. We also killed some time at Barnes and Nobles, went bowling, went and saw the fireworks, and rang in the New Year.

Lets see what everyone is reading. What a surprise Jordan is reading a book about boys.

Kailyn is reading Dork Diaries.
We forgot our camera so this is all we got from bowling. Caden bowling. Courtesy of Kailyn.

Ringing in the new year. Everyone from our family made it to midnight...

...Yes, even Hannah. Though I would have preferred her to be in bed asleep, she decided to wake up and join the fun.

Hula dancing at the ward Christmas party? We've been doing it all wrong!
