Chase's Birthday Party

This was Chase's first friend party. I'll be honest I am not a huge fan of friend parties...they are so much work! Well, Jordan asked if she could plan and throw Chase's party. I was on board for that! Jordan loves to plan things and is often creating activities for her younger brothers and sisters. For Chase's party, she planned and made all of the games. The kids had a lot of fun and most importantly, Chase loved it.

The theme was Power Rangers. First, was pin the phone on the Power Ranger. Jordan drew the Power Ranger. Chase went first.

A couple of kids were way off.

Next, they learned Power Ranger skills and did relay races. (Kai had asked if she could stay and help, she is pictured here with the pink shirt)

Caden, Dane, Chase, and Ben getting ready to race.

Dane and Ben balancing a ball on a spoon.

Spencer passing the ball off to Chase.

Hannah is not very happy because she can't join in. She has a messy face thanks to a sucker.

Next up was Tug-O-War. I was a little nervous about this event but no one got hurt, so all was well.

Learning to work together by racing with a balloon.

Next, was the obstacle course.

Ava had fun joining in with the boys.

Caden was happy to join in the fun too.

Helping clean up...which quickly turned into a 'sword' fight.

Bowling to get the bad guys. Jordan printed pictures of cartoon bad guys and taped them to water bottles and then the kids tried to use a soccer ball to knock them over.

The final activity was the pinata. Jordan found out how to make a pinata online and created this all by herself without an ounce of help. It turned out so well.

All of the party goers: Tyler D, Caden, Ben L., Chase, Ava, Dane L., Spencer P, and Isaac W. (Not pictured Kai L. party helper, Jordan party planner extrodanaire, Kailyn our fabulous photographer, and Hannah)

Pinata time. Chase..

Caden...

Cake and ice cream.

And last but not least, opening presents.

Playing one last game while waiting for parents to arrive. They have a balloon tied to their ankle and are trying to pop each other's balloon.

I call the event a huge success. Everyone had fun, we had plenty of activities to fill the time, and no one got seriously hurt.

Happy birthday, Chase, you handsome fella! You know, everyone needs a Jordan in their life. Can you clone her?

That looks awesome. I need Jordan to come and plan our birthday parties - those activities look so fun and creative. The piƱata looks like the ones you buy!
