Spring

Oh, how I love spring! We have had so many beautiful surprises, in the form of flowers blooming all over our yard. I also love the beautiful weather. The kids have loved it too. We have been spending a lot of time outside lately. Here is the proof.
Playing in our screened in porched

Waiting for Kailyn's ride.

Having a picnic lunch for Cinco de Mayo.

Poor Caden is getting a molar and his sleep has been all over the place. He slept through almost all of playgroup.
Jordan and Kailyn decided to both sleep in Kailyn's bed.
The thing that makes me sad about spring is that it means a lot of our friends will be moving. One of the families that will be leaving us is the Wells. They have 2 girls that are the same ages as Kailyn and Jordan. Kailyn is very sad a lot of her friends (Olivia, Ella, and Rachel) are moving and often asks if we can move with them. So earlier this week we went geocaching with the Wells (trying to squeeze in some time before we have to say good bye). Although, it was raining we had a lot of fun...that is until the very end. After finding some treasure, and wandering around for another treasure, the girls and Caden decided to play on a little brick wall. The girls thought it would be great to all jump off at the same time. Unfortunately, Mimi and Jordan were holding hands and for some reason Jordan didn't jump on three. So Jordan ended up getting pulled off and landed on top of Mimi and then hit her head on the sidewalk. It sounded awful. Jordan was pretty tough, although her head looked oddly flat. Luckily, Ken was there and was able to use his medical training to prevent it from swelling.
Trying to decide what prize to take from the treasure.

The result. Although this picture doesn't show the full effect, I was surprised that it didn't look worse.
