I don't have any pictures of just me, but this is the most recent picture I have of myself taken on our trip to Columbus. Since this is a post about me thought there should be a pic of me.
So, like everyone else in blogging world, I have been tagged. So here it goes...
1. I hate shopping. I hate trying on million of clothes that make me look disportioned, big, small, awkward, old lady, little kid, etc. etc. Don't get me wrong, I love new clothes! I just really hate trying to find them. Oh, the other part I hate is I take it home and wash it and suddenly it just doesn't fit right anymore.
2. I have horrible circulation. Especially my toes, it doesn't take much for them to start turning white.
3. I love chocolate but I hate chocolate flavored ice cream and dark chocolate candy bars. I think I just like chocolate in moderation these things just have too much of a chocolate taste.
4. I like mowing the lawn. I have always liked it. The only problem is the kids right now, trying to keep them happy while I mow our huge lawn is no fun. Also, our lawn mower died a few weeks back. We tried to buy a new one but no one has them in stock right now.
5. I don't like watching movies more than once. I don't understand the point if you already know what is going to happen. I have a hard enough time sitting through it once (I am always doing something else while we watch a movie)
6. I love being around people. I love the chaos and commotion. I would take being with others over being alone anyday.

Monday Night
Here are a few pics from our fun today. The first is of Jordan. I told her she could have one piece of candy this morning. She spent the next half hour laying out the candy and trying to decide which one she wanted. (my girls are not good at making quick decisions).
Kailyn was incharge of the lesson tonight, so Jordan and she did a little skit. They acted out the story of Peter raising Tabitha from the dead.
We topped off the evening by eating sugar cookies. Frosted by the girls. Yum! Yum!
Here are some pics of the kids in their Halloween shirts (thanks mom and dad). Unfortunately, Caden was not wanting to do pictures, he was done after just a few pics.
We don't really have very many traditions in our family...yet. But one we do have is that every year on Halloween we eat a meal called "dinner in a pumpkin." We did it tonight cause we were going to carve pumpkins tonight as part of FHE, but Ken got home too late to do it. Oh well, we'll carve it tomorrow.Kailyn was incharge of the lesson tonight, so Jordan and she did a little skit. They acted out the story of Peter raising Tabitha from the dead.

Pre-Halloween Fun
Saturday night was our ward Trunk-or-treat. The kids all had a lot of fun. Caden caught on quickly and would grab not just one candy but a whole hand full. Then there is Jordan who went up to the first one and said "give us candy." Who taught her manners?
I took these pictures just before leaving to the party in our front yard. I got a lot weird looks from people walking down the street. You know the look, "You do realize that Halloween isn't until Wednesday?"
I made Caden's bee outfit last year for Jordan . My friend Emilee made Kailyn's outfit while I worked on Jordan's (Emilee is quite the sewer). Kailyn is a fairy and Jordan is a witch.

Primary Program
Well, thought I would write an update on the program. We had our primary program yesterday. It went so well. I was really happy with it considering I was so clueless when I got the assignment. The kids did great. The songs went well. And Kailyn was so cute. Kailyn remembered her part and said it nice and clear. I am relieved it is over. What a weight off my shoulders. No more worries about Sunbeams diving over the side of the stage or ending 20 minutes early. I have to say thank you so much to Rachel M. for helping get started and giving me such great advice on how to have a successful program. Also, my mom who gave me some great ideas on how to write the program. I don't know what I would have done without both of you helping me. Thank you.

Now I know
So our kids have been sick. No fun! Jordan was up Monday night from midnight until 3 throwing up and complaining her stomach hurt. Then Kailyn got home from preschool today, ate lunch and then started complaining her stomach hurt. She has been throwing up since then. Ken got home and I said to him that I'm worried about Caden. He said no worries Caden is definitely going to get sick. Yes I know he was going to get sick. I hate it cause he can't tell me he doesn't feel well, there is no telling when he is going to throw...(as if on cue Caden threw up all over me). Well, now I know where he is going to be when I find out he is sick.
So now the waiting game. When am I going to get sick? I have been washing my hands like crazy but lets be real I don't think that is going to stop me from getting sick. I have had to bath and change my clothes a couple times, not to mention having to clean up all of the throw up from the kids. I hate being sick with kids. They expect you to still function even though you feel terrible. And for some reason my kids kind of freak out when I am laying around or sitting for too long.
Here is a pic of poor sick Caden. He crashed on Ken's lap after throwing up all evening.

Caden turns 1
Can you believe it? Caden is 1! We celebrated his birthday Saturday and had a fun, family party. Caden loves balls so thought it was only appropriate that he should have a baseball for his cake.
Unfortunately, Caden woke up really grumpy from his nap and it just carried on into the evening. Even being grumpy he seemed to like his cake. His first reaction was "Mmmm!"
Caden did have lots of fun opening his presents!
Being his birthday thought I would share a few facts about our handsome boy:
1. Loves anything having to do with balls. Especially loves playing catch. He even counts (of course you can't understand a word of it but he makes three sounds and then throws)
2. Loves to play on the piano
3. Can say ma (mom), mo (more), mmm, uh-oh.
4. Can sign more, eat, drink, bottle, down, help. He is really good at communicating what he wants through sounds and signs.
5. Love when his sisters play chase with him. Running around the kitchen, livingroom, and entryway.
6. Is in about the 50% for height and just below 50% for weight.
7. Is becoming independent and loves to feed himself.
8. Likes reading books especially if they are interactive (open flaps or feel things).
9. Definitely a mama's boy.
10. Likes to wake up early (if he sleeps till 6am it is a happy day).
