The kids had a day off of school, and I was going through mountains withdrawal. So, I loaded the 3 oldest and took off for the mountains.

| There was a watch tower for watching for forest fires. We climbed to the top and enjoyed beautiful 360 degree views. It was hard positioning the kids because they would not let go of the safety rails. The trip back down was very slow, as each of the kids' steps was very deliberate and slow. The kids could not let go of the railing on the way down, either |

| Jordan promised she would kiss the ground when we got to the bottom. She kept her promise and also kissed this rock multiple times. I think she was glad to get back on solid ground. |
