Grandpa and Grandma Come for a Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Bassett came down for a visit. They came to see their newest grandchild (Austin and Mindy's new baby) and help watch Asher, the new big brother. We were lucky enough to have them stay with us.
Ava snuggling with Grandpa.

At story time at the old Firehouse Library.

Look how much smarter they are after listening to those stories.

We ate lunch in a little park and listened to live music.

Love my boys.

Ava and Asher dancing to the music.

Ava soon learned that the metal made a great noise when she jumped on it.

Asher stayed with us the whole time Ken's parents were in town.

Chase enjoying his peanut butter and honey (its got to be honey not jam).

Beautiful Kailyn.

We also got to see the new baby. He was so cute.
Jordan loves babies.

Ava was super excited to hold the baby but was done quickly.

Caden is so sweet and caring.

Chase made sure he got his turn.

Kailyn helped everyone else have a turn and patiently waited.

Everyone say "Cheese!" Hello, everyone.... Apparently, they got a little involved in the movie while waiting to see the new baby.

I took off about half way through Grandma and Grandpa's visit to go to Utah for my girls' weekend. That didn't slow things down at home one bit...
Making cookies with Grandma.

Reading a book at the library.
Showing Grandma and Grandpa the joys of geocaching.

A visit to Swetsville Zoo. Not your normal zoo...

This 'zoo' is full of metal creations that the owner has created.

Kailyn showing off her ninja skills.

There was even ones that made music.

Watch out Caden that baby dinosaur is going to eat your hand!

Chase trying to get a ride with the dragon.

Ava checking out the 'monster' before getting too close.

Apparently, he appeared friendly enough to approach.

Jordan trying to save Grandpa and Kailyn from the man eating car thing.

Please Dad can we take it home.

I promise to stay sweet forever.

Caden's future mode of transportation.

This is not an optical illusion this is actually the longest bike you have ever seen.
