Home for the Holidays, part 2

Christmas day was awesome.  Young kids are soooo fun at Christmas time.  We started the day with a delicious breakfast of waffles with strawberries and whipped topping, sausage, bacon, egg nog, chocolate milk, and orange juice.  After we had cleaned breakfast up, it was time to see what all was under the tree.

All the presents just before the opening started.

Checking out the stockings.

Showing off the contents of the stockings.

Can't help but love this picture of Ava with her Aunt Megan.

Chase starting off the process.

Jordan and Caden willing to help.

Caden showing how it's done.

The boys showing off their new airplanes.

Ava wondering how to get to the inside of this box-like thing?

Still working on it.

and still working on it.  A little confused.

Jordan opening a present from Aunt Megan.

Jordan had some money.  Money burns holes in Jordan's pockets.  Often it's for a good cause, though.  For instance, she decided she wanted to get presents for her grandparents and her aunt Megan.  This mug filled with candy is what she chose.

Aunt Megan excited to have a mug for college.

Kailyn has been wanting a camera.  We found a cheap camera on Black Friday.  Kailyn opened hers, and Jordan said, "That's not fair.  I want a camera!"
so, Jordan's next present was . . .

. . . she couldn't believe it either . . .

a new CAMERA!!

Just some cute pics of Jordan, who showed plenty of happy emotion.

Shelly multitasking.  Being a mother never ends.
Kailyn got a new doll for Christmas . . .

. . . and the girls both got new homemade doll clothes from Grandma Jones.

After all the presents were opened, Grandma Jones announced that there were chocolate ornaments on the Christmas tree, and all of the edible ornaments needed to be eaten before anyone left back home.  Chase claimed all the orange ornaments . . .

Jordan claimed all the pink.  Kailyn the blue, Caden the green.

Ava with keys and a remote car starter.

Dress up with cousins Hailey and Makayla.  Notice all of Grandma's scarves.

How fun to see all of these Christmas pictures again. Christmas is a lot merrier with children in the house!
