Father's Day 2014

This year Ken asked the kids not to give him "things" but to plan something fun to do or to make something for him. The kids did a great job making a fun day. Kailyn was so excited to try and make something with rhubarb after she heard Ken talking about how much he liked it. She made a delicious rhubarb/strawberry crisp. Yum! The fun activity was frisbee golf. It was fun, except for the heat. It was a hot day!

Our little chef.

Yum, so delicious!

Ava with the wind up..

...and the throw.

Jordan's turn.

Apparantly, she is not so thrilled to be here.

With a nice follow through.

Shelly throwing while holding Hannah, now that's skill.

Caden and Chase going together.

Chase very focused and ready for his turn.

Family shot minus the VIP (Ken). Can you see all of the pink cheeks on the kids, that is because they are hot.

Hannah's turn...

...never mind, she is just going to eat it.

A little bridge we got to go across.

There is the VIP, finally getting in for a picture.

Posing at one of the holes.

A silly pose with Ken.

See all of these kids climbing the wall...

Even this "big" kid...

They all started doing it after this cute girl decided to go for a climb.

Got to get a picture of all the climbers.

These kid loves to show how strong he is.

This kid just love anything to do with climbing.

By the time we got done with golf it was a lot later than planned. We stopped for a bite to eat (a rare experience). The kids got Ken, and those that wanted it, tacos and the rest got burgers.

Kailyn enjoying her taco.

And a good book.

Yummy treats, purchased from the Young Women as a fundraiser.

And cute cards.

The girls had helped make these for all of the dads at church. When Ken wasn't there to get his (he had to work) they made sure to grab one for him.

Dad with his cute girls.

Dad with his handsome boys.

And his amazing wife :)
