Ken was looking at these pictures and said they didn't look familiar, probably because he wasn't there for them. Yup, he was working and missed out on the fun. The Easter Bunny did Easter a little differently this year. The kids seemed to be getting so much candy from all of their different activities that we decided not to do a bunch of candy this year. Instead the eggs were hidden in our basement and the kids had to find them. When they opened the eggs they didn't find candy--they found little strips of paper. They then had to take the papers and use them to decode a message. They had a lot of fun. The clues lead them to a big basket filled with things to get ready for summer. They got sunscreen, Gatorade, new swim goggles, and family coupons to redeem in the summer for some fun activities.

The Saturday before Easter they had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt. We didn't find out about it until right before it started and got there right as everyone started to get eggs. Good thing we got there right when we did or we would have missed the whole thing.
