No camera.
No trees. 15 of our trees got infected by the Emerald Ash Bore (a bug here and in Michigan that has killed a lot of trees). All of the trees were infected and died over the winter. We are so sad not only for the loss of shade and beauty but also because now we are looking at thousands of dollars to get them removed.
No dryer (something is wrong with the outlet).
No van. The car sucked up water into the engine and hydrolocked the engine. We have been week without a car for a week. We are so thankful, though, cause we were thinking that we were going to have to replace the car or at the very least the engine. After many hours put in by Ken, we got the car running again. Then we took it to a mechanic for a few finishing touches and the car is as good as new.
No. Caden's new favorite word. Yes, we are in the terrible twos, even though he won't be 2 until October. There are a lot more tears and frustration. It can be really cute though cause I will tell him "no more crying, its all better." Caden's response, "Ok, no more crying" and he will stop crying.
No Kisses. For some reason Caden won't give me kisses. I will ask him for a kiss and he will either laugh and run away or say "No, no kisses." Although, a couple days ago he just started kissing me all over and naming every place he kissed "kiss cheek, kiss other cheek, kiss chin." Oddly enough, he has no problem kissing Ken and the girls.
No Variety. Jordan wears the same outfit over and over and over, until finally I take it so I can clean it. Unfortunately, even then she pulls it out of the dirty clothes and tries to wear it again.
No more pushing. Last week we were at the park and I looked over and saw Jordan swinging all by herself. She had gotten on the swing by herself, and was pumping all by herself. Not sure when she learned to pump.
No more secret language. Kailyn is picking up reading and loves to read the "Dick and Jane" books. We are really excited for her to be reading but sad Ken and I will be losing our code language.
No birthday in Ohio. Kailyn will not be celebrating her birthday in Ohio cause we will be in Montana!!! We are all so excited, but I think Kailyn is the most excited. We (the kids and I) are leaving in less then 2 weeks and will be there a whole month!!! We planned such a long vacation cause of 2 weddings and a girl's weekend with Ken's side of the family.
No humidity. Ok, so that is not quite true but it has been a lot less humid this year then last year. We have had some absolutely gorgeous days here. I love that we can open up our windows at night (something we never did during the summer in Arizona. A/C ran 24/7).

Wow, Shelly. Great update--i feel so excited about some things and so sad about others :). Good luck with the trees, the dryer outlet, the kisses, and the camera! And have a great time in Montana!!! That is enough to forget about your worries for a while, i bet.
Be sure to stop by and say hi to all the bennions!
What a clever synopsis of what's been going on with you guys lately. The part about the no kisses made me giggle.
Wow, you guys have been BUSY! Sorry to hear about the loss of the trees, that's a bummer!
cute blog. We are so excited for your baby #4 and for your up-coming trip to Montana. Make sure to give lots of hugs and kisses to the family for me. And of course, keep the updates coming.
