Legoland California

Hannah had a rough time on the trip. With her sleeping schedule out the door and diarrhea, who can blame her?

This is how we found Hannah one morning. Doesn't look very comfortable. Ken had to change her in the middle of the night because she had a blowout. One morning Ken found her completely under the bed.

As part of our ticket package we got tickets to Legoland. I am glad that we didn't actually pay for these tickets because we were not overly impressed. OK, so we were probably  tainted by the fact that we had just been at Disneyland, but still.

Getting some lunch.

The kids favorite thing about Legoland was the car ride. They loved driving these little cars.

They even had a kiddie side for Ava.

Trying out another ride.

I think Ava is asking if this ride is going to be scary.

Just waiting to go.

I guess what Legoland is known for this--the things they built with legos. The miniature cities were pretty cool.

Darth Vader made of legos.

So we did try out their rollercoaster. Ava was a little nervous about this drop pictured below. I told her it would be fine. When we finished the ride and they were unbuckling us Ava said, "What about the drop? We didn't go on the drop." Yes, it was the first thing you did. I could not convince her that she had gone on the "scary" part already. Yes, she has become a pro at roller coaster rides, thanks to Disney. Now rides like this are a walk in the park.

Poor Hannah was too short to go on any of the rides.
